Spreading the gospel in the Czech Republic

• Word of Life Czech Republic is a Christian organization acting as a civic association. Its activities are focused on working with children and youth in the form of various activities such as summer camps, sports tournaments, biblical clubs, etc.

Translating the Bible for unreached people in South Asia

• Some of our missionary partners operate in parts of the world where the good news of Jesus is actively combatted by local authorities. For this reason, we are unable to disclose their names or specific geographic location.
• Pray that the Lord will reveal himself and draw lost people to himself, using the newly published translated Scriptures that are beginning to be distributed and receiving a strong response in an unreached area in South Asia.

Training and equipping Indigenous pastors to reach their communities

• The mission of Training Pastors International is to equip local pastors to train and equip other local pastors to spread the Gospel with confidence.
• Praise that TPI is celebrating 20 years of meetings in Cameroon, Sierra Leon, Kenya, Uganda, and Malawi with over 1,000 pastors represented. Pray for safe travel, peace, and protection for the pastors that attend these meetings.

Supporting Local Families

• The Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tidewater supports women unprepared for pregnancy. CPC exists to save lives, spare hearts, and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ here in South Hampton Roads.
• Pray for the women in Hampton Roads the center serves, that they will know and experience the love of Jesus. Pray for the center as they are seeing a 14% increase in the number of women they have served so far this year.

Reaching Muslim communities overseas

• Frontiers USA focuses on the peoples and places with the least access to the Gospel. They recruit, train, and send teams of workers to live in Muslim communities and bring Christ’s message to those who have yet to hear it.
• Pray for the practical needs of the missionaries serving Muslim communities overseas. Pray that their audiences and influence would grow so that the gospel would transform lives in places it has not yet reached!

Reaching Rural Kenya

• World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization that brings sustainable solutions to the world’s greatest problems – disasters, extreme poverty, violence, oppression, and mass displacement. They partner with local churches and community leaders in the U.S. and abroad to bring hope, healing, and transformation to the most vulnerable.
• Pray for the 180 churches among the Massai people. Praise that the Massai people are enjoying new savings groups and expanding youth programs. Pray to alleviate the drought and food scarcity.

Fighting against Human Trafficking

• The mission of Samaritan House is to foster personal safety, growth and self-sufficiency in adults and their children through freedom from sexual and domestic violence, human trafficking, and homelessness.
  • Pray to end the rise in domestic violence and human trafficking cases in Hampton Roads. Pray for the people who are in a violent relationship, who aren’t strong enough yet to escape the violence.  Pray they find the strength through Jesus that will guide them to start the healing process.

Training and sending indigenous workers to share the Gospel

• The 15:20 Coalition is a partnership of churches and individuals that work together to train, develop, equip, and send indigenous workers from unreached people groups to share the Gospel. They strategically target areas in the world where the Gospel has started to take root but where there are virtually no native evangelical Christians or churches to share about Jesus.
• Pray for indigenous workers as they are equipped and then sent to the least reached people groups in the world. Prayers specifically for new churches in Togo, Kosovo, and Albania.

Building Relationships in Central America

• The mission of Connect is to make disciples in many cultures at one time by engaging individuals, communities and the Church through love, prayer, worship, service, and the Word lived out.

Refugee Resettlement in Hampton Roads 

• Grace Bible Church is uniquely equipped to make refugee resettlement a continuing ministry in our church. We are excited to live out God’s calling to love those who have been uprooted from their homes and are now starting over in Hampton Roads.  
• Pray for the families that Grace Bible Church has welcomed into Hampton Roads. Pray that they will continue to thrive in their communities and that they would continue to ask questions about Jesus.

Women’s literacy and self-empowerment in Southeast Asia 

• GTI Hope provides education and literacy classes to women in Southeast Asia. The Bible is used to teach the literacy courses and many women start small businesses because of what they learn in their classes. The women not only gain confidence and financial independence but have a restored relationship with Jesus because of what they learn. 
• Pray for the students’ safety as they travel, that they will be protected from persecution, and that they will have open hearts in lessons.

Education and Schools

• ASEL is a system of schools in Togo that equips Togolese teachers through mentorship, discipleship, and ongoing Teacher Training Seminars. The teachers then instill character and competence in their students while giving them opportunities to hear the Gospel.

B.L.E.S.S. 

• At GBC, we use the acronym B.L.E.S.S as a reminder to be in prayer for those who don’t know Jesus. Who in your life are you praying for who is not a follower of Jesus? What is your next step to share God’s love with them? There is no pressure for any of us to lead someone to Jesus, but we do have the privilege of playing our part. The acronym B.L.E.S.S. (Begin with prayer, Listen, Eat together, Serve them, Share your faith story) is a helpful way to think about how we are partnering with the Holy Spirit to see people come to faith in Jesus. 
• Take time to pray for your friends and family who don’t know Jesus. And pray also for our church, that we can continue to create environments that unchurched people love to attend.
