Engagement Questions

• When has someone been generous to you?
• Why is it important to remember that Jesus showed us how to give?
• How can you give to others this week?

Prayer

“Dear God, thank You for the gift of Jesus so we can see how You want us to show compassion and generosity to everyone. Thank You for the greatest act of love ever when Jesus gave up His life. Help us pay attention to the people around us so we can love others and be generous. We love You, and we pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, tell them something about who they are that you consider a gift to you personally.
 

Drive Time

While on the go, ask your kid: “Who is someone you know who is generous?”

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “What are some ways Jesus gave to others?”
 

Bed Time

Pray for each other: “Jesus, thank You for showing us how to give to others. May we always be willing to share our words or stuff to let others know how much You love them and we do too!”
