Engagement Questions

• When has someone been generous to you?
• Does it inspire you to be generous to others? Why or why not?
• How can you meet the needs of others this week?

Prayer

“Dear God, thank You for the ways Jesus showed us how to give. Please show us where the needs are in our communities and how we can be generous and help those around us. We love You, and we pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, tell them something about who they are that you consider a gift to you personally.

Drive Time

While on the go, ask your kid: “Who is someone you know who is generous?”

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “When has someone been generous to you?”
 

Bed Time

Pray for each other: “Jesus, thank You for showing us how to give to others. May we always be willing to share our words or stuff to let others know how much You love them and we do too!”
