SPRING 2024

Middle School

Forgiveness can be tough, but it’s powerful. In “Remember When I . . . ?,” middle schoolers will explore how forgiving others—and themselves—brings peace. This three-week series helps them see that learning to forgive can impact the way they relate to themselves, God, and others.

Week One

1 Thessalonians 5:15

You can forgive.

Week Two

Romans 5:8, Colossians 3:13

Forgive like you've been forgiven.

Week Three

Matthew 18:21-22

Forgiveness takes time.

MEMORY VERSE

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Ephesians 4:32, NIV

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, share with them something funny you heard or saw.

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone answer this question: “What is something you wish you could send away and forgive?”

Drive Time

While on the go this week, ask your kid: “What would help someone forgive? What would hurt it?”

Bed Time

Pray that you and your kid will have the strength to forgive in a way that “sends it away.”
