FEBRUARY 2025
WEEK ONE

Preteen

Uniqueness is learning more about yourself so you can make a difference.

Bible Story

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
Psalm 139:1-14 (supporting: Genesis 1:26-28, Ephesians 2:10)

How would you describe yourself?

MEMORY VERSE

How you made me is amazing and wonderful. I praise you for that. What you have done is wonderful. I know that very well.

Psalm 139:14, NIrV

Engagement Questions

  • How would you describe yourself?
  • Why do you think God chose to make each of us unique?
  • What are some benefits of being different from others?

Prayer

"Dear God, thank You for the amazing way You made all of us. We’re so grateful for our differences and similarities. You know everything about us and You love us! This week, help us discover more about how You made us unique. We love You, and we pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen."

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, tell them something about how they are made that you love (their smile, their laugh, how they see others, etc.).

Drive Time

While on the go, ask your kid: “Think of someone you know. What do you like about the way God made them?”

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “How would you describe yourself?”

Bed Time

Pray for each other: “God, thank You that You made us, love us, and know us. Remind us of that when we feel differently.”
