With Jesus we can help change the world.

(Saul and Barnabus)

Romans 12:18
(Supporting: Acts 9:1-28)

Live in peace with one another.

MEMORY VERSE

As you deal with one another, you should think and act as Jesus did.

Philippians 2:5, NIrV

Engagement Questions

  • What does it look like to live in peace with one another?
  • What makes it hard to live in peace with others?
  • Who can you make peace with this week?

Prayer

“Dear God, thank You for loving us! Thank You for showing us how to live in peace with one another. Help us to be peacemakers too, so we can show Your love to everyone around us. Thank You for giving us the courage to make a difference. We love You, and we pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, tell them about a time you saw them choosing peace and how much you respect and admire that.

Drive Time

While on the go, ask your kid: “Who would you describe as peaceful? What is it about them that makes them peaceful?”

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “Who is the most challenging person to live in peace with? What do you need to do differently to live in peace with them?”

Bed Time

Pray for each other: “God, help us live in peace with everyone—especially those who are not peaceful towards us. Help us to be both wise and compassionate.”
