Forgive One Another

What makes it hard to forgive?

Our God is a God who strengthens and encourages you. May he give you the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had.

Engagement Questions

• Is there someone you are struggling to forgive?
• What did Jesus do for you on the cross?
• What does it look like for you to live out forgiving others?

Prayer

“Dear God, thank you for dying for us on the cross while we were still sinners. Help us forgive others as you have forgiven us. Help us have the same attitude as you, Jesus. We love You, and we pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, share with them something you admire that they can do that you can’t. (sport, craft, challenging math, etc.)
 

Drive Time

While on the go, ask your kid: “What is something new you’ve learned how to do? And what is something you want to learn how to do?”

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “Who taught you to live like Jesus?” Take some time after dinner and write “thank you” notes to someone who taught you to live like Jesus.
 

Bed Time

Pray for each other: “God, continue to grow both our minds and hearts so that our love for You and others grows too!”
