The Old Testament book of Judges, the time in between Joshua and the Kings, was a lawless time. It was Israel’s Wild West. This series looks at three significant Judges from this dark time in Israel’s history. Using the American Wild West as a launching point, with comparisons made to the Lone Ranger, Annie Oakley, and Billy the Kid, students will have a fun time diving into Israel’s ancient history, while also finding lessons they can apply to their lives today.
Amp’d is our middle school ministry for students in 6th – 8th grade. Identical programming occurs at each campus. Amp’d is a part of our NextGen Ministry directed by Melanie Lee. Each campus has its own director, Chris Horton (Lynnhaven Campus), Hannah Tyrrell (Norfolk Campus), and Liz Ganser (Strawbridge Campus).
Our win is to inspire and equip middle school students to develop a faith of their own. Each student will hang out with their peers, hear an engaging bible message, and experience intentional time in a small group to dive deeper and connect relationally with other students their age.
Students may check themselves in using their primary phone number. Amp’d doors open 15 minutes before service begins. After service students will be dismissed and meet up with their family in the lobby.
Yes! We have additional high-energy, fun events, and retreats planned throughout the year. For more information about additional Amp’d events, visit gracebible.church/nextgenevents.
