Treasure Cove is our elementary school ministry for students, K- 5th grade. Identical programming occurs during all services at each campus. Treasure Cove is a part of our NextGen Ministry directed by Melanie Lee. Each campus has its own director: Lauren Cootes (Lynnhaven Campus), Mark Gabele (Norfolk Campus), and Leslie Horton (Strawbridge Campus).

Our win is to guide kids to put their faith in Jesus; and to teach them WHO God is and HOW He wants them to live. Each child will experience music, engaging Bible teachings, and a personalized and age-appropriate small group experience.

Every child will learn that:
I need to make the wise choice
I should treat others the way I want to be treated
I can trust God no matter what

Families may check in at our NextGen Guest Services area (look for the color orange) using their primary phone number. Treasure Cove doors open 15 minutes before service begins. After service parents will bring their parent tag to Treasure Cove to pick up their child and volunteers will match the student and parent tag upon exit.

There are several opportunities for kids to meet outside of Sunday services:

• Family experiences are held throughout the year (Jingle Jam in December and Easter Eggstravaganza in April).
• During the summer, we hold our biggest church event called Summer’s Best Week. This weeklong event allows kids to learn even more about Jesus.
• In addition, 5th graders gather quarterly to serve the community, hang with small group leaders, and have fun together.
