Frequently Asked Questions

What is Gravity?

Gravity is our high school ministry for students in 9th – 12th grade. Identical programming occurs on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30. Gravity is a part of our NextGen Ministry directed by Melanie Lee. Each campus has its own director: Chris Horton (Lynnhaven Campus) and Hannah Tyrrell (Norfolk Campus).

What can my student expect during Gravity?

Our win is to lead students to connect faith in Jesus to kingdom-minded action through relationships. Each student will hang out with their peers, hear an engaging bible message, and experience intentional time in a small group to dive deeper and connect relationally with other students their age.

How does check-in and dismissal work?

Students will be greeted by a welcome team at the door and may check themselves in using their primary phone number. Students leave as soon as small groups conclude (approximately 8:30pm).

Does Gravity ever meet outside of Wednesday?

Yes! We have additional high-energy, fun events, and retreats planned throughout the year. For more information about additional Gravity events, visit gracebible.church/nextgenevents.
