Step 1: Attend Jump Start
What is it? Jump Start is an event that takes place on Sunday afternoons several times throughout the year. It is designed to help parents and kids learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. JUMP START is a 30 minute presentation developed to give parents the tools necessary to have a meaningful dialogue with their kids about how to begin their spiritual journey.
Who is it for? Children (K-5th) grade and their parents. Every child who is baptized at Grace must attend Jump Start first.

Step 2: Listen
Thanks so much for attending Jump Start! We hope that you will soon have the opportunity to sit down with your child and go through the questions in the homework piece. We’ve created the audio link below to help you as you dialogue with your child. We’ve included some things to listen for and be aware of as you walk through this all important conversation with your child. We hope you find this resource helpful.
Step 3: Meet with Us
We want to take this opportunity to answer any questions that you or your child might have about their decision to trust Christ as his personal Savior. We will also answer any questions your child might have concerning their baptism. This is a great opportunity for us to talk with you and your child before we move to the final steps of preparing for baptism.

Step 4: Get Baptized
Yay! Your child is getting baptized. Our baptism celebration is an incredible event. Our hope is that it is something that your child NEVER forgets! So plan to invite your friends and family to join the party!
Here are a few things to know for the BIG day:
Make sure your child arrives dressed and ready to go in a dark colored shirt and shorts.
Be sure to bring a towel and change of clothes for your child to change into after their baptism.
