Is there a Good Friday service?

There will not be a Good Friday service. Instead, join us for Journey to the Cross where we’ll explore the final hours of Jesus’ life. We invite you to experience the wonder of forgiveness as we experience on the weight and depth of the cross on Sunday, March 24th during our regular service times.

Will there be an Easter egg hunt?

Yes! We will host a family-friendly event called Easter Egg-Stravaganza on Saturday, March 23rd! Come join us at the free event with your kids. Details here!

Frequently Ask Questions

Is the programming the same at each service offered?

Each Easter service is identical. Whether you come to the first or last service, your experience will be the same. Please note it will be easier to find seating if you attend earlier!

Will kid or student programming be available?

Programming will be available for kids Birth – Pre K (Sonshine Island) and K – 5th Grade (Treasure Cove).

All students (6th – 12th grade) are welcome to worship with their families in the auditorium for the Easter Service!

I'm New! What should I expect?

Welcome to Grace Bible Church! Our Sunday services are about an hour with a live band and a message from one of our pastors. No matter which service you attend, you can expect the same, meaningful experience! Our environment is casualdress however you are most comfortable.

When does Lent start?

Lent last 40 days and is the six-week season that leads up to Easter. This year Lent begin on February 14th.

The start of Lent is known as Ash Wednesday. Lent is observed daily during this six week timeframe with the exception of Sundays.

What is Holy Week?

Holy Week walks through the last week of Jesus’ life.

  • Palm Sunday celebrates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
  • Maundy Thursday remembers Jesus washing the feet of his disciples along with the Last Supper.
  • Good Friday commemorates Jesus’ crucifixion and his death on the cross.
  • Holy Saturday honors the Jesus’ body resting in his tomb.
  • Easter Sunday celebrates the Jesus’ resurrection and victory both over sin and death.
