Celebrating 10 Years of Racial Unity: An Indoor Block Party

It started with a simple prayer for unity.

Ten years later, that prayer has grown into lasting relationships, unity across our differences, and a church that more fully reflects God’s beautiful diversity.

Join us for a night of music, shared stories, and delicious food representing the rich cultures of our church family. Let’s celebrate what God has done—and what’s still to come.

Bring a friend. Be part of the celebration. Let’s build deeper unity together!

In early 2016, the elders of Grace Bible Church sensed the Holy Spirit’s leading to begin an initiative aimed at promoting a biblical approach toward racial unity. We believe racial unity is made possible through Jesus Christ, and we define racial unity as multiple ethnicities bound together, not by uniformity, but by a singleness of purpose: to love God and to love others. Since that time, our goals relating to racial unity are:

1. To teach a biblical perspective on racial unity, reconciliation, and justice

2. To eliminate any unintentional barriers to people of color becoming fully engaged in our church

3. To encourage church participation in biblically sound community efforts to promote racial unity and justice
